Nufocid FOS is a synergistic combination of an acidifier and fructooligosaccharides. This product can be used as a dietary acidifier and prebiotic in pigs (gestating and lactating sows, finishing pigs and piglets) and as a dietary acidifier and prebiotic in poultry (broilers and layers).

Organic acids in Nufocid FOS:

•enhance digestive enzyme activity which improves feed digestion

•improve nutrient absorption (in particular, phosphorus in phytate form)

•reduce the number of diarrhoea cases

•reduce the risk of infections

•have beneficial effect on intestinal epithelial cells which results in better villus growth

Fructooligosaccharides in Nufocid FOS:

•enhance the growth of beneficial bacteria, such as Bifidobacteruim spp. and Lactobacillus spp. (which is especially important when used as prebiotics in weaned piglets)

•prevent the development of potentially pathogenic bacteria (inhibit the growth of Escherichia coli, Clostridium spp., Salmonella spp.)

•enhance digestive enzyme activity

Piglets (6-12 kg): 3-5 kg/t

Piglets (12-35 kg): 2-4 kg/t

Finishing pigs (35-110 kg): 1-2 kg/t 

Sows (gestating and lactating): 1-2 kg/t

Broilers: 0.5-2 kg/t 

Layers: 1-2 kg/t
